This Kazakh rug was hand-knotted in Northwest Afghanistan. Its tribal and geometric design is a hallmark of rugs from this region and is also reminiscent of Native American patterns. The cherry red background creates medallions in a beautiful design of white, deep indigo, burgundy and copper. The border has a repeating floret motif surrounded by an intricate pattern. This rug will work in many spaces and color palettes - entryway, hallway, bedside, office, etc. The colors are made with only natural and vegetable dyes.
