This vibrant accent rug was hand-knotted in Afghanistan. Its tribal and geometric allover design is a hallmark of Afghan rugs from this region. The burgundy red and indigo design gives off a purple hue with chocolate & ivory accents reminiscent of American Indian patterns. The border is beige with indigo and red geometric motifs.  This rug is known as a "rizbaft" or "small knot" for its relatively high knot count for a village rug. This piece will work in many spaces - entryway, hallway, bedside, office, etc. All of the colors are made with only natural and vegetable dyes.
