This Baluch rug, hand-knotted in Northwest Afghanistan by Baluchi weavers, was designed as a prayer rug with its mosque-like images. The tribal and geometric pattern is a hallmark of Afghan rugs from this region. The white entryways of the mosque are adorned with cherry red, goldenrod and chocolate accentsintric with midnight blue in the geoemetric floret border. This rug can be used as a prayer rug or a tapestry or as a beautiful accent rug for your entryway, hallway, bedside, office, etc. All of the colors are made with only natural and vegetable dyes. Made of 100% camel hair, which gives it a full pile that can withstand high traffic areas.
