This bright and bold 'Elephant Foot' Afghan rug was hand-knotted in Northwest Afghanistan. Its tribal and geometric design is a hallmark of rugs from this region. The cherry red background hosts the repeating geometric motif known as 'Elephant Foot' design in ivory, burgundy, mustard and royal blue. The complementary borders have intricate geometric designs. The colors are made with only natural and vegetable dyes.
